偶像劇《華麗的挑戰》從男主角人選一波三折，從言承旭到吳尊，最後終於決定由Super Junior的始源和東海出任。 始源和東海和台灣演藝圈的淵源頗深，之前就曾來台跨刀拍攝林依晨的MV《螢火蟲》，就此結下合作的契機。 這次《華麗的挑戰》男主角之缺就是由林依晨的經濟公司牽線找上Super Juinor的始源和東海。 《華麗的挑戰》改編自日本漫畫，現在由韓國男星擔任男主角，女主角則由台灣偶像劇一姐林依晨出演，中日韓三國合作的噱頭不小。 《華麗的挑戰》預計明年三月開拍，但是很多觀眾擔心始源和東海不懂中文，但是始源在之前拍攝電影《墨攻》中就已經有過對嘴的經驗。 來源是在SJ後援看到的新聞
